About our Sailing Programs
At Rosebud, we believe that everybody is capable of achieving their sailing dream, whatever that may be. And we want to help everyone get there.
We have beginners sailing courses, suited to those who have never sailed before but want to feel the freedom and pleasure of simply being out on the water beyond the line of swimmers, all while under the watchful eye of support boats and trained instructors.
For those who want to push themselves to the next step, we also offer a sail faster course, designed around either stepping into racing, or taking your racing to the next level. Here the focus is on tuning your boat to catch every puff of breeze, driving harder than you thought you could, and stepping outside your comfort zone.
Finally we also have our weekly racing – the best place to put everything together. Even though you may not be interested in coming across the line first, you will learn the next level of sailing as you put your boat across all angles of sailing, compare yourself against others, and just have fun.
Everything we do at Rosebud Yacht Club is all based around fun. After all, if you aren’t enjoying yourself, what’s the point? So from those who are still figuring things out all the way to those who want to gain the tactical advantage, our focus is primarily on fun, friends and frivolity. And the best part? All of this is done in a safe, secure environment, with support boats there to guide you every step of the way.
